The Role:

As a Mechanical Engineering Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our lecturers and ensuring the smooth operation of our workshops. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and stock levels within workshops.
  • Ensuring the proper maintenance of equipment to facilitate effective learning.
  • Providing students with safe and tested equipment for practical sessions.
  • Offering support to students with queries on Engineering topics when required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Background in Engineering with a minimum of a Level 2 Engineering qualification.
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check, paid for by the college.
