About the Role:
Career Teachers is seeking caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to join our team in Sheffield. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support and care to young children in a nurturing and stimulating environment. This role offers an immediate start with flexible shifts, allowing you to contribute to the early development and well-being of children while maintaining a balanced work-life schedule.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in the daily care routines of children, including feeding, changing, and nap times.
* Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote their physical, social, and emotional development.
* Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
* Support nursery staff in implementing educational programs and monitoring children's progress.
* Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on children's activities and well-being.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a welcoming and inclusive nursery environment.

Skills Required:

* Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting preferred.
* Genuine passion for working with children and promoting their development.
* Patience, empathy, and a nurturing disposition.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the nursery and children.
* Basic understanding of health and safety practices related to childcare.
