Job Duties:

• Provide tailored tutoring sessions for students in Key Stage 3 and 4
• Develop and implement lesson plans to support individual learning needs
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Encourage student engagement and participation in the learning process
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience in teaching or tutoring in Key Stage 3 and 4
• Strong knowledge of the KS3/4 curriculum

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching or tutoring experience in Key Stage 3 and 4

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent understanding of effective teaching strategies
• Ability to work with students of varying abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organisational and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education
• Experience in delivering online tutoring sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
