Primary School Teaching Assistant- Openshaw, Manchester- KS1 & KS2- ASAP- Summer

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant seeking a new opportunity for April 2024?

Educate GM are working with a large community school based in Openshaw, Manchester. Close to the Etihad Stadium and nearby transport links, the school are looking to recruit a full-time Teaching Assistant to support across both KS1 & KS2.

This full-time TA position will run until the end of the academic year with scope for a permanent contract for the right practitioner. You will be joining a vibrant team of Teachers and Teaching Assistants to work alongside and share ideas and activities. The Ofsted rated Good mainstream primary is somewhere you can develop and grow as an educator. The role will specifically focus on splitting your time between both KS1 & KS2 classes, working generally within class with focus supporting pupils with additional needs such as ASD and behavioural difficulties. Experience working 1:1 with pupils and facilitating small groups is essential.

The nature of the role requires an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for teaching and developing young individuals to reach their full potential. The right candidate will be patient and understanding and will offer the pupils creative and engaging support in lessons to ensure they excel in their learning.
