KS2 Teaching Assistant

Principal Resourcing are seeking to appoint a KS2 Teaching Assistant for a Year 3/4 class in one of our partnership primary schools in Selby. The primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who is able to work part-time for the Summer term.
The school has recently been described by Ofsted as a caring, welcoming school where serving their community is at the heart of everything they do.
You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role, dependant on experience.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification
- Have successful experience in a primary school
- Have experience with KS2 learners
- Have experience in delivering specific interventions to support the needs of all pupils
- Possess excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Have experience of supporting children with special educational needs and vulnerable pupils both emotionally and academically
- Have high expectations of pupils achievement
- Possess good communication skills
- Be a team player with a positive outlook
- Have an ability to work in partnership with pupils, parents, staff and governors
- Provide support under the direction and supervision of teaching staff to assist pupils to access the curriculum and participate fully in school activities;
- Have a sound knowledge of Safeguarding.
