Our client, a nursery in Basingstoke is looking for a motivated and qualified Room leader. Duties may include leading and managing the daily operations of the nursery room, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. Planning and implementing engaging and developmentally appropriate activities based on the curiosity principles, fostering curiosity, exploration, and creativity. You will also need to collaborate with colleagues to evaluate and improve the quality of provision, implementing changes and enhancements as necessary.

What's involved?

• Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar)
• Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play, and be safe
• Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers.

A valid enhanced DBS certificate on the update service is essential for this role.
