Night Watch Officer   

Working pattern: Full-time (48 Hours) and Part time (36 Hours)

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract, up to 12 months

Number of roles: 2

Salary: £22,000 - £23,000 per annum 

We are looking for a full time (48 Hours) and part time (36 Hours) Night Watch Officer to join our team.

As a Night Watch Officer, you will have responsibility for the following areas Health and Safety, Student compliance and any other duties as required by the General Manager and/ or Deputy Manager. Part Time Officers to assist with additional shift cover when Full Time Officers on annual leave or absent.

This is a fixed-term position lasting a minimum of 12 months. There may be scope to extend the role slightly beyond this depending on circumstances next year.

Night Watch Officer - What you’ll bring to the role 

The successful applicant will:

• Have a passion for customer care and a sensitivity to student’s needs.

• Have experience in a customer facing environment.

• Have recent experience of working in a maintenance / caretaking role.

• Have experience of working in an effective Health & Safety culture in line with legislation.

• Ability to offer flexibility in working hours including provision of out of hours support in an emergency if required.

Night Watch Officer - Essential skills/ experience

• Have experience in customer service, hospitality or student service provision, ideally accommodation.

• Be able to work as part of a team, and work on own initiative.

• Budget management.

• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

Night Watch Officer - Additional Requirements

• You will need to be available to work overnight on a shift basis between the hours of 8pm and 8am.
