PE Teacher

Education Personnel are looking for a PE Teacher capable of teaching Physical Education 5 days a week. The role is for a Full-Time position. There is a possibility of extension or a permanent position.  This is an ideal opportunity for all PE Teachers. Those willing to accept M1-UPS1 pay are encouraged to apply.

The School

Located in the Nottingham, our esteemed school is well-regarded in the locality. We are currently looking for a dynamic PE teacher to join our team. The school boasts a modernized site with excellent facilities and a supportive community. With ongoing plans for improvement, we offer a positive environment for both students and staff.

General duties of the PE Teacher will be:

• Effective PE Instruction:
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons catering to diverse student abilities.
  • Integrate various sports and activities for overall fitness.
• Promotion of Active Lifestyles:
  • Encourage students to adopt and maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.
  • Emphasize the importance of physical fitness and well-being.
• Inclusive Practices and Behaviour Management:
  • Implement inclusive teaching methods for all students.
• Manage student behaviour effectively, instilling discipline and sportsmanship.
• Skill Development and Assessment:
  • Focus on developing fundamental motor skills and sports-specific techniques.
  • Assess students' physical abilities and provide constructive feedback.
• Extracurricular Involvement and Collaboration:
  • Organize and supervise sports clubs, teams, or events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues for school-wide sports events and enhance the overall PE program.
• Providing safeguarding and pastoral support.

Salary: £130-£230 per day dependent on experience
