Details on Year 4 teacher role are:
- Starting in the summer term, 22nd April 2024.
- Interviews to commence 15th April 2024
- MPS1 - UPS3 Payscale - Experience preferred, however they are open to ECT applications
- Full time contract until the end of the Academic Year 2023/2024 with the possibility of permanent role from September 2024.
- Good Public transport links to Harrow: Jubilee/ Metropolitan line and bus stops close to school
The successful Year 4 teacher will need to:
- Be a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE or a Bachelor of Education. Early Careers Teacher (ECT) will also be considered
- Have the ability and experience of teaching in Year 4/KS2 with good knowledge
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and use creative approach
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team
Academics Ltd are currently working with a Primary school in the London Borough of Harrow who are looking for a Year 4 Teacher to join their team.
The Year 4 teacher would ideally have previous experience as a full-time class teacher. However, they are open to considering ECT's and have a leadership team who can provide excellent coaching and mentoring support.
The Primary school in Harrow is four form entry and has been Ofsted rated as good. The behaviour policy is fully implemented across KS2, and adhered to throughout the school, resulting in pupils being aware of expectations.
The school will also provide the Year 4 Teacher with targeted CPD opportunities to develop skills and encourage career progression.
