  • Position: SEN Experienced Teacher with Behaviour Management Experience

  • Location: Poplar, London
  • Salary: Up to £240 per day (reflecting candidate's pay scale)

  • Job Description:
    • Lead a class with a high proportion of students with EHCP needs.
    • Utilize exceptional behaviour management skills.
    • Demonstrate genuine passion for inclusive education.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to diverse student needs, including those with EHCPs.
    • Implement effective behaviour management strategies for a positive learning environment.
    • Collaborate with 1:1 support staff to provide targeted support to students with additional needs.
    • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to address challenges and access support resources.
    • Foster strong communication channels with parents, providing regular updates on student progress.
  • Requirements:
    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience.
    • Proven experience in managing challenging behaviour and implementing effective strategies.
    • Strong understanding of Special Educational Needs and EHCP processes.
    • Commitment to long-term engagement with the class and a desire to make a positive impact as a class teacher.
