Milk Education are working in partnership with a large, all boys, 11-18 academy based in Lewisham who are seeking to appoint an outstanding Computing Teacher to join them on a full-time basis as of the April Term.

The school are seeking a well-qualified and experienced teacher to join our Computer Science department. The successful applicant will have an excellent degree in their subject area and help to produce strong results through inspired teaching ensuring the students enjoy and understand the subject, including robust numbers at A level. The successful candidate should have a strong academic background, and will be expected to play a full role within the Department.

The Person

The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher of Computing. They will have high expectations of their students and have an innovative approach to curriculum ideas, supporting all pupils gaining a Computing qualification.

The ability to work within a team is essential and candidates will be expected to have good ICT skills. A sound knowledge and understanding of best practice in the accurate assessment of student work is essential.
