A partner primary school in Hackney are looking to appoint 3 SEN Teaching assistants to work with them from September on a full time basis.

About the roleA mainstream primary school in Hackney are looking to appoint 3 Teaching assistants to start with them from September.
This will be across different year groups in KS1 and KS2, and therefore your preference will be considered.
You will be working with a pupil with SEN on a 1-2-1 basis supporting them in the classroom throughout the day.
You will-
-Be supporting the pupil with their learning and where needed
-Be able to identify the pupils needs throughout the day
-Work with the class teacher to support the pupils learning and adjust work where needed
-Support the class teacher when needed, and work collaboratively with other members of staff
You should have experience working with SEN pupils in a classroom setting
About the schoolThe school is a two form entry mainstream primary school based in Hackney.
RequirementsTo be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistants you will:
- Have a DBS on the updated service
- Be able to work Monday-Friday from September
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience working with SEN pupils
As SEN Teaching Assistants you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the pupil in the classroom throughout the day
- Working with the class teacher to ensure the pupil is receiving all the support needed
