Exciting Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant Needed in Sheffield!

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Sheffield Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
- Collaborating with teachers and SENCO to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Monitoring and recording student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/carers, and contributing to the assessment process.
- Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with SEN is desirable.
- Empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach to supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of students with SEN and a commitment to their welfare and educational progress.
