KS1 Teaching Assistant

Do you have experience working in education? Would you be confident to lead small group work? Are you looking to start your next new rewarding role in a supportive school? Tradewind are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant with experience working in education to work at an OFSTED 'Good' rated three-form entry primary school in Rainham. This would be a full-time, long-term post starting ASAP with pay rates between £85 to £95 a day.

Supporting a Year 2 class, this role would require someone who would be confident working with children with Special Educational Needs, has experience working in the education sector, able to build a strong rapport quickly as a foundation to help them to engage with their learning. The successful candidate will have the desire to act as a positive role model for young learners.

The primary school has parking on-site and is easily accessible by both bus and train.

Requirements:

• Experience working in the education sector.
• Have a warm and nurturing approach when working with children.
• Be confident working with children with challenging behaviour.
• Confident leading small group work.
• Available 8.30 - 3.30, Monday to Friday
• Live within commutable distance of Rainham.
