Engineering Assessor (Maintenance & Fluid Power)

We are working with an education provider in the Warwickshire area who are looking for an Engineering Assessor (Maintenance & Fluid Power) to join them on a full-time and permanent basis, starting as soon as possible.

The role will involve you being part of engineering work based learning team and travelling to workplaces in the West Midlands in order to assess Maintenance Engineering appentices on their vocational skills, encompassing Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Fluid Power. The role would allow you to manage your own diary and use your home as your central base, with only very occasional visits to the main centre required.

The starting salary for this position is up to £37,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience), and the package would also include a teacher's pension (with employer contributions of 23.4%), mileage allowance (paid from home), and 36-38 days holiday (inclusive of closure days and Bank Holidays).

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-A level 3 Engineering qualification
-Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering
-Knowledge of Electrical Engineering
-Knowledge of Fluid Power
-An Assessor award
