Position Overview: As an ECT at our institution, you will play a crucial role in shaping the academic and personal development of secondary school students. You will work collaboratively with experienced educators, implementing innovative teaching strategies and fostering a dynamic learning environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
  • Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and attainment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and enhancement.
  • Provide timely feedback to students to promote continuous improvement and attainment of learning objectives.
  • Actively participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Recent completion of Initial Teacher Training (ITT) or currently enrolled in an accredited ECT induction program.
  • Passion for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
