Location: Washington, Tyne and Wear
Salary: £150 - £200 per day
Start Date: ASAP

GSL Education is currently looking for an inspirational Science Teacher to join a dynamic department in a secondary school in Washington, Tyne and Wear. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about science and committed to providing high-quality teaching to students across Key Stages 3 to 5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative science lessons that meet the curriculum requirements.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that stimulates curiosity and enthusiasm for science among students.
  • Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Participate in and contribute to the school’s science department, including curriculum planning and development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Science or related subject.
  • Experience teaching science across Key Stages 3 to 5.
  • A strong understanding of the science curriculum and current educational practices.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
