Early Years Teaching Assistant 

Location: Washington, Tyne and Wear
Salary: £80 - £100 per day

GSL Education are seeking a nurturing and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning in a vibrant early years setting in Washington, Tyne and Wear. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and wants to make a positive impact on their early educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering engaging and educational activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
• Work closely with the early years team to plan and prepare materials for daily activities.
• Observe and record children's progress, sharing outcomes with the early years teacher.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Childcare and Education.
• Experience working within an early years setting.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
• A compassionate, patient, and supportive approach to working with young children.
