College – Support Worker

We are recruiting for a College Support Worker to support young people aged 16-26 with SEND. The role will be to work on a 1-1 or general classroom basis with learners who require support in line with their EHCPs. This is a full time, long term role to start immeditely so the person applying for this role must be available Monday to Friday.

Your role & responsibilities as a College Support Worker

* Work under the guidance/ instruction or the class teacher
* Enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom
* Support the delivery of quality learning both in the classroom or outside the main teaching area to help raise standards of achievement for all pupils
* To encourage the participation of all pupils

* Experience working with children or adults with SEND in the last 2 years
* Passionate about enabling every child to fulfill their potential
* Reliable and flexible to suit the expectations of our schools
