Key Responsibilities of a Daily Supply Teacher:

• Deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) in line with the national curriculum.
• Provide cover for absent teachers, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and year groups, following lesson plans and instructions provided by the regular classroom teacher.
• Engage students in learning activities, promoting active participation and fostering a love of learning.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, implementing school policies and procedures as needed.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Previous experience teaching in a Primary School setting is preferred but not essential.
• Flexibility and availability to work on short notice, often on a day-to-day basis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff quickly.
• Resilience and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in varied and sometimes challenging environments.
