Primary Teaching Assistant - Wakefield & Kirklees

We're currently recruiting for Primary Teaching Assistants across Wakefield and Kirklees who are available to work for 3-5 days per week assisting in various year groups from EYFS - Year 6. If you are an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to work in the Education sector and have a real passion for making a difference, we would love to hear from you.

NextGen Teachers are an Education Recruitment Agency working with a number of Primary schools located in and around the Wakefield and Kirklees areas and are seeking to recruit Primary Teaching Assistants who are interested in flexible working on a supply, part-time or, full-time basis.

Our schools are in need of cover for; sickness, courses and, pre-planned absences and we are looking for Teaching Assistants who are able to support across the Primary age range starting ideally as soon as possible.

Successful applications will have:

• Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or an Educational based degree such as; Early Childhood, Education Studies, Working with Children, Young people and families etc
• At least 1 year of experience working with children in a professional capacity
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
• 3-5 days of weekly availability
• 2x professional references
• Right to work in the UK
