Supply Ad-Hoc Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant

Location: Brigstock, Northamptonshire

Starting in January 2024

Salary: £85-90 a day

Are you passionate about education and looking for a flexible role that allows you to make a positive impact in local primary schools? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teaching Assistants to join our team and support schools in Brigstock, Northamptonshire on an ad-hoc basis.

Key Responsibilities:

· Classroom Support: Provide assistance to the classroom teacher in delivering lessons, helping students with their learning, and ensuring a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

· One-on-One Support: Work with individual students or small groups to provide additional support, helping them to reach their full potential.

· Behaviour Management: Assist in maintaining a well-behaved classroom by implementing school behaviour policies and strategies.

· Curriculum Support: Help prepare and organize classroom materials, assist with lesson planning, and contribute to a creative and engaging learning environment.

· Flexible Availability: Be available for short-notice assignments, allowing you to work around your schedule and other commitments.

Requirements:

· Experience: Prior experience working with children in an educational setting is a plus but not mandatory. Training will be provided.

· Flexibility: Ability to adapt to different classroom environments, grade levels, and subjects as needed.

· Reliability: Punctuality and a strong commitment to fulfilling assignments are essential.

· Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teachers, students, and school staff.

· Passion for Education: A genuine enthusiasm for helping children learn and grow.
