We have a lovely nursery near Dulwich who are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join a dedicated and friendly team. Close to the train station and local bus routes, it is a spacious nursery with separate rooms and gardens for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.

The children enjoy a varied and stimulating timetable from cooking with their Chef, to Zumba classes, to gardening and growing veg. They also love getting involved in the community and taking trips to the local attractions.

As a Nursery Practitioner you will help to provide high-quality care and education for the children. Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans that promote children's cognitive, social, and physical development. This might involve organizing and leading activities, games, and educational experiences
  • Keep open and effective communication with parents or guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress and daily activities
  • Ensure the safety, well-being, and development of the children in your care
  • Regularly observe and assess each child's development, behaviour, and needs. Keep detailed records and share progress with parents and caregivers during parent-teacher meetings
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
  • Minimum of a Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent (e.g., CACHE, NNEB)
  • Paediatric First Aid certification
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
  • Strong knowledge of modern teaching methods and technology integration in education
