Pay rate: £90.00 - £110.00 per day (depending on experience)
Setting: Mainstream Secondary School
Start date: Monday 15th April 2024
Duration: Long term with view to go permanent
Active Recruitment are currently working with an outstanding Mainstream secondary school in Tower Hamlet who are looking for an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join them after the Easter break, on a long-term basis with a view to go permanent. As a Behaviour Mentor you will play a key role in helping to make an impact for students with behaviour issues.
Roles and responsibilities of the Behaviour Mentor:
- Supporting the consistent implementation of our behaviour policy
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural challenges
- Ensuring that students enter the building in full academy uniform and if not, following the agreed procedures
- Taking responsibility for the calm and purposeful movement of students into/out of the academy and around the academy between lessons
- Monitor and record student progress and behaviour changes
