Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Casual Nursery Nurse to join our team in Derby. This role offers the opportunity to work flexibly while making a meaningful contribution to the development and wellbeing of young children in a nursery environment. As a Nursery Nurse, you will collaborate with experienced educators to create a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities and experiences that promote learning and development.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive community.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success and effectiveness of the nursery team.

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and adults alike.
• A passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development.
• Flexible, adaptable, and reliable approach to work.
