About the role

As a General Supply Teacher with ABC Teachers, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of educational settings, from primary to secondary schools, covering classes in the absence of the regular teacher. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to choose your assignments based on your availability and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher or create your own when necessary.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Qualified Supply Teacher you will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working as a teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and curriculum requirements.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
