 TeacherActive is currently supporting a South Birmingham secondary school who are looking to recruit a qualified English teacher to enrich the learning and development of their KS3 & KS4 students.

The school is looking for a strong teacher who can create engaging and innovative lesson plans, demonstrate effective teaching practices and strong behaviour management skills.

The position is full-time and long – term will include planning and conducting assessments, under the guidance of the Head of Department. The successful English teacher may also be required to provide individual plans for Learning Support Assistants to follow when working on a 1:1 basis with students.

The ideal teacher should have the following:

• A QTS with a minimum of 6 months’ experience in a secondary school
• Experience working with KS3/Key Stage 3 and KS4/Key Stage 4
• Create engaging and innovative lesson plans
