Aspire are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of students with special educational needs, providing tailored assistance to help them achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with classroom teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies for students with special educational needs.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, adapting instructional materials and activities to suit their individual needs and abilities.
Assist with the assessment of students' progress and development, providing feedback to the teaching team and parents/guardians as needed.
Support students with personal care tasks, mobility assistance, and behaviour management strategies as required.
Foster positive relationships with students, helping to build their confidence, self-esteem, and independence.
Collaborate with other professionals, including therapists and support staff, to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications:
Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
Previous experience working as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, preferably in a school setting.
Strong understanding of different special educational needs and evidence-based strategies for supporting students with SEN.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians.
Enhanced DBS or willing to apply for one
