£17000 per annum / £435 per week rising to £18525 / £475 weekly, paid weekly by our inhouse payroll team.

Vision For Education are excited to provide this bespoke opportunity to support passionate, reliable, hardworking people with a pathway into work in education, specifically SEMH and SEND Behaviour Support.  Working alongside our client schools we are tasked to source excellent future talent.  We are seeking people with the correct aptitude and attitude to positively influence the lives of young people for the better as well as supporting their learning and personal development.

You may be from a degree background, you could have worked in another industry, you might have always wanted to work in the sector but have been unsure how to bring this to fruition.  What we offer is tailored training and support, followed by paid, on the job, experience.

Following a successful interview and pending suitability, safeguarding and identity checks, we will work to secure you a paid placement in a school to further develop your skills. We will help you to develop your identity as an educator and help you to choose your specialist area from Primary Education to Secondary, PRU and SEND provisions.

About the School

Prior to starting your placement, you will complete training delivered by Vision for Education and school leaders.   This will equip you with information, advice and insight to succeed in your role!

The most effective staff members have excellent communication skills. They are also able to build relationships with both staff, children, and their families.

You may be working to support the teacher in while class teaching, running small group interventions to support children or working on a 1:1 basis to ensure the needs of all children are meet and that they can thrive.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Trainee Behaviour Support Worker you will:

  • Be free on a full time basis

  • Be willing to pay for an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Have a desire to work within education, pass initial screening and vetting requirments
