Job Description: We are seeking individuals with experience in the military, police force, or as a prison officer to join our team as cover teachers. As a cover teacher, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Your primary role will be to ensure that students continue to learn and progress in their studies while their teacher is away.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans effectively
• Managing classroom behavior and ensuring a conducive learning environment
• Providing support and guidance to students as needed
• Following school policies and procedures
• Collaborating with other staff members to ensure continuity of learning

Requirements:

• Experience in the military, police force, or as a prison officer
• Strong behavior management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new situations
• Passion for education and working with young people
• Flexibility and reliability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
