Job: Teacher of Geography

Location: Birmingham, Solihull

Hours: Full time, long term

Start Date: September 2024

Salary: £150-220 (depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Secondary Geography Teacher for a school based in Solihull to join their already thriving department. Previous experience of teaching Geography to KS3-KS5 students is desirable as well as confidence with preparing pupils for their GCSEs and A Levels.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree
• PGCE in Secondary Geography with QTS or equivalent
• Recent experience within schools
• Ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons
• Ability to carry out effective marking and assessment
• Full and clean DBS on the update service
• Subject to two references covering the last two years of employment
• Excellent behaviour and classroom management
• Experience working with pupils with SEN needs
