The Role - Behaviour Mentor
Behaviour Mentor is required for a long term role working with pupils excluded from mainstream education. The role of the Behaviour Mentor is to support KS3 and KS4 pupils across two sites in their learning and development. The Behaviour Mentor must be pro active and confident in working within a challenging environment. Ideally Behaviour Mentor applicants will have previous experience supporting pupils within mainstream schools or within a PRU environment. The Behaviour Mentor will be expected to commit to a long term assignment until the end of the academic year with view to then go permanent. The Behaviour Mentor will be Team Teach trained.
The School - Alternative Provision, Southwark
This Alternative Provision is located in the Borough of Southwark, a centralised location allowing an easy commute for staff and learners. The school is an alternative secondary provision catering to pupils excluded from mainstream education and learners with learning / behaviour difficulties. The setting accommodates a maximum capacity of 40 pupils with only 38 on roll currently.
