Position Overview:

As an Experienced Teaching Assistant - General Supply, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of primary schools in London, covering short-term absences, long-term placements, and day-to-day assignments. This role offers flexibility and the chance to gain valuable experience in different educational settings while receiving a guaranteed pay scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide support in the classroom, assisting the class teacher with delivering engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.

- Work with individual students and small groups to provide targeted interventions and support, including SEN and EAL students.

- Assist with classroom management, behavior support, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers to support the overall learning community.

- Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding protocols and health and safety guidelines.

- Complete administrative tasks as required, such as preparing resources, maintaining records, and supporting assessments.

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in primary schools, with a good understanding of classroom dynamics and support strategies.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
