The Supply Register is currently in partnership with Ark Schools, as part of this service we are currently looking to appoint primary teachers for their schools based in Portsmouth. This role would involve working with Key Stage 1. 

As a Primary Teacher you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises children's achievement and ability to develop.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Articulate a love of their subject
  • Communicate effectively with students of all abilities
  • Care about students, their learning, and their futures
  • Manage behaviour effectively to create a safe, respectful and nurturing environment so that students can focus on learning
  • Committed to participating in professional development programmes and will engage in mentoring opportunities provided by the school and network

Requirements

  • Must have previous experience of being a qualified Primary Teacher
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Proof of Right to Work for the UK
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one
