Exciting Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant Needed for KS1 at a Whitefield based Primary School (M45)

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Whitefield, Manchester

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Until July (End of the School Year)

Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one support for pupils with SEN in Key Stage 1.

Assist the class teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).

Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel valued and supported.

Collaborate closely with the SENCO and other staff members to meet the needs of pupils with SEN.

Monitor and track the progress of pupils, providing feedback to the class teacher and SENCO as needed.

Requirements:

Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a school setting.

A compassionate and patient approach to supporting pupils with diverse needs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

An understanding of different learning styles and strategies for supporting pupils with SEN.

Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake relevant training.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
