Are you passionate about early childhood education? Do you thrive in a dynamic and supportive learning environment? We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Early Years Teaching Assistants on a supply basis in various local schools across Leeds.

Position Overview: As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of young children. Working on a flexible basis, you will have the opportunity to choose your work pattern, including the days and weeks that suit you best. This role offers a perfect balance of flexibility and valuable experience within the education sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of educational activities and programs designed for early years students.
  • Provide support to the classroom teacher in creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Engage with children in both group and individual settings, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Support children with special educational needs (SEN) or additional learning needs, ensuring their full participation in classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to promote the holistic development of each child.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in early years education settings is essential.
  • Qualified and unqualified candidates are welcome to apply, but experience in the sector is a must.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
  • Flexibility in working hours and availability to work on short notice.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
