I am currently working with a primary school based in Hackney that are looking for a Teaching assistant to join their team ASAP until the end of the academic year.

This mainstream primary school is based in Hackney has a supportive and encouraging senior leadership team with great transportation links around it. For the right SEN teaching assistant, they would want to employ them ASAP until the end of the academic year with the option to extend into the new academic year on a permanent contract!
This school is rated “GOOD” by Ofsted and prides itself on how they education their students
The role will involve working 1-1 with a child in key stage 2 who has mild ASD and needed general assistance around the classroom. There is no personal care involves or anything physical such as biting or hitting.
The right teaching assistant will have previous experience working in a mainstream primary school or SEN primary school with SEN students. A relevant qualification would be helpful in the application but is not needed.
