£170-£220 per day depending on experience

This is an opportunity for a well-qualified graduate of English to join a vibrant, challenging and enormously fun teaching community in one of the country’s leading schools.

As an English Teacher, you will contribute to providing an excellent education by teaching with expertise and enthusiasm from KS3 to A Level through to supporting competitive university applications for English and contributing to the wider life of the school and its pastoral system.

First and foremost, you will deliver inspiring and well-organised lessons informed by excellent subject knowledge. You will utilise an appropriate range of teaching strategies and resources, including a creative use of technology, ensuring that all learners’ needs and expectations are met, whilst raising and maintaining levels of attainment amongst students. As an enthusiastic and positive person, you will encourage, challenge and motivate pupils to apply newly acquired knowledge and skills.

You will have the ability to teach English from KS3 up to A level and university preparation support and use a creative range of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all students. You will also contribute to the wider co-curricular life of the school.
