Role and Responsibilities:

• Proficient in devising and implementing innovative teaching approaches customised to engage students and foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills, particularly aligned with Key Stage 3 and 4 curriculum requirements
• Well-versed in utilising teaching methods that effectively support students from diverse backgrounds, promoting equity and inclusivity within the classroom setting
• Skilled in cultivating positive rapport with students, parents/guardians, and peers to foster a collaborative educational environment
• Committed to nurturing students' social-emotional well-being by integrating Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) principles into daily lessons and classroom interactions, addressing the developmental needs of Key Stage 3 and 4 students
• Dedicated to maintaining a growth-oriented mindset, actively pursuing opportunities for self-reflection, feedback, and professional development to continuously enhance teaching efficacy.
• Willingness to engage in school-wide initiatives, committees, and professional learning communities to contribute to the enhancement of school culture and instructional practices, with a focus on Key Stage 3 and 4 education
• Proficient in crafting well-structured lesson plans aligned with Key Stage 3 and 4 curriculum standards

The ideal candidate will:

• Have recent experience in teaching primary schools
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
• Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply
• Be a committed team player
• Be confident and adaptable to different environments
• Have strong classroom management skills
• Able to commute to and from Prestwood and surrounding areas

Our service is free of charge but all we ask is that you are compliant with the Department for Education guidelines.
