SEN Specialist (Teaching assistant) – East London
The primary school are looking for a higher-level teaching assistant who is confident to lead sessions in a group and can efficiently work with the other adults in the class. They are looking for someone to work in their SEN provision class working with 6 children with significant SEND needs in reception to key stage 1. These children have personal care needs, and you will be communicating with most of them through a total communication approach, PECS or Makaton experience is a must.
The ideal higher level teaching assistant will have previous experience in a special school is a must and a childcare qualification does help in your application for this role not is not needed.
