Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and dynamic music lessons to secondary school students.
• Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to explore their musical abilities.
• Plan and coordinate extracurricular music activities, such as choirs, bands, and performances.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community and participate in departmental initiatives.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Specialism in Music or relevant subject area.
• Proven experience teaching music at secondary level, with a track record of achieving excellent results.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Commitment to promoting the value of music education and enriching the school curriculum.
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
