Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive Functional Skills lessons in English and mathematics.
- Assess and tailor teaching materials to meet the individual needs of learners.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and motivation.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to promote growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to continuously improve course content and delivery methods.
- Keep up-to-date with curriculum changes and educational trends in Functional Skills.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and achievements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality assurance standards.
Qualifications:
- A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS).
- A strong background in delivering Functional Skills English and mathematics.
- Experience working with diverse student populations, including adults and young learners.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to inspire and motivate learners to achieve their full potential.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
- A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
