TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Nursery based in Taunton with their search for a Nursery Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an ambitious Nursery with like-minded practitioners, to help provide the best possible early start for young children. It’s a busy, thriving environment with lots of opportunities to plan stimulating activities that meet the developmental needs of each child.

The nursery is looking to employ a qualified Nursery Practitioner, on a long-term basis with the opportunity to be offered a permanent position. You will report directly to the Nursery Manager and could be based in the Baby or Toddler room, there could also be opportunities to cover in the other rooms within the nursery.  In a time of growth for this Nursery, career progression opportunities are also available for the right person.

Good communication skills  are essential, as well as an up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

· Level 3 (Desirable) – Level 2 (Required)

· Experience with the Early Years Foundation Studies (EYFS) curriculum

· ‘Can-do’ approach with the willingness to get stuck in

· Reliability and a compassionate, nurturing nature
