Teaching Assistant - Full-time

£17,000 - £21,000 per annum (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role  

Vision for Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a Primary School in Doncaster. We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to start a temporary requirement from September.The school require the right candidate to be able to; 

• Have excellent communication skills with children, parents and other staff members 

• Be able to work on a whole class basis as well as working with children 1:1 

• Be enthusiastic, passionate and confident to help children to succeed in their next steps of learning.  

• Have experience of supporting children with SEN.  

The school is part of a large multi-academy trust and provides education for children aged 3-11 years old. The school is a two-form entry school and currently has 280 pupils on role. The school was recently inspected by Ofsted and were ‘’Good’’ in all areas. 

Requirements  

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;  

• Experience of working with primary school aged children  

• Experience of working with pupils with SEND  

• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils  

• An ability to work as part of a team  

• Be adaptable, flexible, and punctual  

• Experienced and confident with the phonic programme – Read, Write, Inc
