SEN Teaching Assistant

Location- Kings Norton, Birmingham, B30

Daily Rate- £85- £100 | Start Date- ASAP | Days- Monday to Friday |Hours- 8:30am to 3:30pm

Contract- Long Term to Permanent

LTF Recruitment are currently recruiting for an caring and patient Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work with at an outstanding well equipped primary school working with children in key stage one.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will connect directly with key stage one children, helping to make sure they get the very best from their education. You will support with children with SEN including Autism, Sensory and ADHD. You will also be involved in helping manage behaviour, track student progress and academic success. Every day will be different, but you will have all the support you need, with lots of skills and experience to draw on along with valuable advice and guidance too. This is a long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the successful candidate.

The ideal candidate:

• Has experience of working with children with a range of additional needs.
• Have knowledge of different behaviour management strategies and understanding of why pupils might behave as they do.
• Can support pupils in a small group and 1:1 setting.
• Be committed to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people.
