Primary Supply Teacher - Portsmouth

Pay  £130- 215

Hours - 8am – 3.30pm Temporary full-time

Supply Desk place our amazing teaching staff in day-to-day and long-term placements in an extensive number of respected Primary schools across Portsmouth. We are currently looking to recruit Primary Teachers and will happily accept applications from ECTs. Supply Desk are a nationwide education recruitment company specialising in Primary, SEND, and Secondary education. 

Your role as a Primary Teacher would be filling positions on a supply basis in primary schools in Portsmouth, ensuring that pupils receive a consistently high standard of education. You will need excellent classroom management skills and a thorough knowledge of the current National Curriculum. You will encourage positive pupil development and monitor pupil’s progression. While contributing to the schools’ culture and policies.

This is a great opportunity to be introduced to a range of Primary Schools across the Portsmouth area and potentially gain a long-term role. This is also an opportunity for a casual and flexible position, where you have full control of when you want to work.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Experience teaching in a primary school
• Energetic and positive attitude
• QTS
• Current DBS registered on the update service or willing to apply
