A Science specialist is required  for a well-respected mainstream secondary school in South Birmingham from April 2024 on a long term basis.

The role would be teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 .  Your role is to help students achieve excellent results in Science whilst keeping a high standard of teaching and a positive and enthusiastic approach.

Science is a popular subject at all key stages, with a significant number of students choosing to take a Science subject at A-Level. The school has high expectations that are combined with outstanding teaching, leading each student to be aspirational and determined to succeed.

A QTS with Biology specialism, or experience to teach Biology up to KS4 would be high desirable for the school.

Both experienced and Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply.

• QTS Science Specialism
• Must be happy to plan and prepare work
• Fantastic work ethic
• Excellent classroom and behavioural management
• Good communication and organisation skills
• Ability to commit to a long term, full time role
• A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
