Art Teacher – Immediate Start - Birmingham
We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Secondary Art Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Birmingham for an immediate start. This is a full time role to start as soon as possible and will run up until Christmas at the very earliest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging art lessons that cater to a diverse range of student abilities and interests.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves creatively.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their artistic skills and techniques.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art into cross-curricular projects and initiatives.
- Organise and oversee extracurricular art activities and events to enrich the student experience.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent in Secondary Art
- Strong knowledge and passion for various art forms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all backgrounds.
- Previous experience teaching art at secondary school level
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on best practices in art education.
