Salary: £47,500 to £65,000

The School:

Simply Education is currently working in partnership with an SEMH School in Lytham, St Anne’s. This SEMH setting provides bespoke learning opportunities for young people aged 11-18 with ASD.

The role:

We are currently seeking a Head Teacher to join the School on a permanent basis to make excellent learning progress and provide positive outcomes for all children and young people as well as responsibilities for line managing and developing core subject teachers.

Responsibilities include pastoral care, behaviour management, curriculum forward planning, timetable construction, data analysis and development, assessment, recording and reporting. You will support CPD training for Teachers and Teaching Assistants, support with inductions and lead staff meetings.

About you:

We are looking for an individual who is great at developing and maintaining positive relationships with parents, staff and all members of the school. You will also be responsible for monitoring policies and practice across the school ensuring the safety, health and welfare of staff and young people at all times.

Essential requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status
- Degree
- Successful leadership and management experience in a similar setting
- Teaching experience with young people with ASC and SEMH needs
- Experience in management
- Experience of curriculum development
- Evidence of CPD and knowledge of current issues in education
- Experience of working effectively with vulnerable children and young people
- Strong data analysis skills
- A great understanding of school finances/financial management
