Start date: September 2024

Salary: L3-L6 outer London (£53,436 - £57,244)

Contract: Permanent, full time preferable but willing to consider part-time options

Aston Education is working with a vibrant 3-11 primary school in Bexley in Southeast London, looking for an Assistant Principal with responsibility for inclusion.

You will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team determined to drive positive change. You are passionate about enhancing and developing provision for pupils with additional needs and have a proven track record of leading SEND, raising standards, and improving outcomes for all pupils.

You will also be a Wellbeing lead, deputy designated safeguarding lead and take an active role in leading whole school improvement across the school.

You have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working as a SENCO in a mainstream primary or secondary school and up-to-date and relevant SEND knowledge. You hold the National Award for SEN Co-ordination (NASENCO) qualification or have willingness to achieve this.

The school hasn’t been assessed by Ofsted yet. They are part of a respected Multi-Academy Trust, and they provide excellent professional training and many other staff benefits including free parking.
